About Mohammed

Mohamed is a real estate investment and development professional with over 23 years of institutional and entrepreneurial experience across East Africa and the UK, including more than 20 years in the property sector.

His career spans banking, real estate investment and asset management, development management, construction and transaction advisory. He was part of the founding team of a real estate portfolio management division responsible for some of East Africa’s largest pension scheme property portfolios and later served as Development Director on a USD 300 million institutionally funded mixed-use development, where he built and led a 40-plus-person delivery team. He subsequently led the end-to-end development and sale of a 500,000 sq. ft. warehousing project in Nairobi.

Since 2020, Mohamed has also led and scaled his family’s construction and interior fit-out business, established in 1978.

In 2024, he co-founded M&S Capital Partners, now MS Group, which has grown into a diversified real estate platform spanning capital and transaction advisory, development and project management, construction and fit-out, and sales and brokerage.

Mohamed holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy and a BSc in Computer Science, Management Science and Accounting.
